Land2Map is a mobile all-in-one solution for land surveying in AutoCAD. Staking out, surveying and real-time drawing happen straight on the tablet on site, without import and export steps in between. The package supports 2D and 3D measurements, stakeout work and volume calculations. Sogelink presents Land2Map on a partner page and names AIC Visser and LNR Globalcom as certified partners; that is where you arrange licences and support.
Land2Map is set up to be hardware-neutral. Sogelink states that the software is compatible with 95% of all GNSS receivers, alongside total stations, laser distance meters and ground penetrating radar. The combination with marXact fits precisely in that openness.
How the Land2Map GNSS integration works
The UNI-GR2 GNSS receiver sends its position as a standard NMEA stream over Bluetooth. In Land2Map you connect the receiver as the GNSS source, and from that moment every measurement draws centimetre-accurately, live in your AutoCAD drawing.
Because you work directly in CAD, the traditional rhythm of survey first, then export, then work it up falls away. The drawing takes shape outdoors, while you survey.
A concrete example
A setting-out surveyor is staking out a new car park. The design is on the tablet as an AutoCAD drawing, the UNI-GR2 is on the pole. Point by point he stakes out the kerb line from the drawing, and he surveys the deviations from the existing situation straight into the same file. At the end of the day no evening of working the data up is needed: the drawing is already correct.
Getting started
For this combination you need Land2Map, a UNI-GR2 and an RTK correction subscription. Our own UNI-Collect app and UNI-Cloud are not needed for it.
