Every organisation works in its own systems, and the last thing a field crew needs is an extra app between them and their data. The UNI-Cloud API solves that: it gives your own software real-time access to the data your marXact receivers produce, so centimetre-accurate positioning lands directly in the environment your team already uses.
What the UNI-Cloud API gives you
Through the API you read the data of the UNI-GRx receivers in your UNI-Cloud account in real time: latitude, longitude and height, the elevationX, elevationY and elevationZ axis components, the per-axis deviations, battery percentage, horizontal and vertical speed, direction, solution status, solution age, satellites tracked, satellites in use and undulation. It is a REST API with token-based authentication and JSON responses. For exchanging survey geometry there is a GeoJSON endpoint, listed in the documentation as GeoJson (Beta). A concrete example
A software company serving utility contractors wants centimetre-accurate positions in its field app. The developer requests a client key, reads the docs, and connects the position stream to the app’s map. The contractor’s crews keep working in the app they know; the only visible change is that the blue dot is suddenly right, to the centimetre, and every registration carries a position their client can build on.
