In our previous newsletter, we announced the arrival of UNI-Cloud v5. The wait is now truly almost over! We are putting the finishing touches on the new environment. As promised, we have not only fixed all known bugs but also implemented a substantial list of your requests:

Smarter Importing: Layer Mapping
Your data, right where it belongs.
Manually linking layers during an import is a thing of the past. In UNI-Cloud v5, when importing drawings, you can automatically map layers to existing layers in your project. Simply put, if the layer from your drawing already exists in the UNI-Cloud, we’ll automatically populate that layer for you.
Are the layers from your drawing not yet available in the cloud? No problem. You can now create them directly and easily during the import process. This saves you countless clicks and ensures flawless data entry.
Large Drawings, Clear Overview
Your drawings, visible everywhere.
You can now effortlessly import large design drawings or revisions as a background layer instead of directly into the database where you store your measured points. The advantage? These background layers work much faster and are immediately visible in the UNI-Cloud, UNI-Collect, and UNI-Machine for the right context. The tools to work with these layers, like toggling them on and off, are already available in UNI-Machine and will be coming to UNI-Collect soon.
More Than Just the Map: KLIC Documents
All your paperwork, right at your fingertips.
In addition to the KLIC information on the map, you can now directly open, view, and download the documents associated with the KLIC from the UNI-Cloud. This opens the door to doing this in UNI-Collect soon as well. This is an important first step toward complete project documentation management, where you’ll soon be able to link settlement statements and other paperwork to your projects.
Share Your Work with the World
Transparency has never been easier.
One of the best new features is the public share link. With a single click, you can generate a unique link to a project, which you can share with clients, colleagues without an account, or anyone you want. They can view the project data without needing to log in. It’s ideal for quickly and professionally presenting your completed work.
More Efficient Management, Better Workflow
It’s the little things that make a big difference.
We’ve implemented dozens of interface improvements to make your management easier. Think of deleting multiple projects and layers at once, a more beautiful and functional side panel in the map overview, and the ability to easily link multiple projects to a user. Combined with the Dark Mode and better sorting functions in tables, this results in a significantly faster and more pleasant workflow.
