Logistiek Zonder Papier (LZP), based in Purmerend in the Netherlands, digitises the administration of waste transport. The company supplies the digital waste consignment note, eCMR waybills, a TMS, depot management and processing of weighbridge data, and it describes itself as the independent Dutch market leader in approved digital administration systems for waste transport. According to its own site, LZP has been lobbying for paperless waste administration since 2005 and 100+ organisations use the system, among them recyclers, municipalities and water authorities.
The thread running through that range: replacing paperwork with data that is correct and immediately available. The same thinking sits behind the LZP marXact integration, which adds real-time location data to the LZP administration through the UNI-Cloud API.
How the LZP marXact integration works
marXact GNSS receivers such as the UNI-GR2 record positions centimetre-accurately on an RTK Fix. The positions sync to UNI-Cloud, and through the realtime API they are immediately available to the LZP environment. Records in the administration get a surveyed location instead of a manual description.
For a sector that runs on being able to prove things, from consignment note to processor records, that is a logical addition: what you record, you record with place and time.
A concrete example
A processor registers deliveries and removals at a depot. Locations on the site, from weighbridge to storage bay, have been surveyed centimetre-accurately once, and records in the LZP environment refer to those surveyed places. At an audit it is clear what has been registered and exactly where.
