Survey data is only useful where the rest of your work happens: in CAD, in GIS, in the systems your clients run. UNI-Cloud is built around that idea. Files go in, measurements go out, in the formats the industry actually uses, and nothing needs retyping in between.
What you can import
UNI-Cloud imports CSV, TXT, DXF, DWG, LandXML, GeoJSON, KML and ESRI Shapefile, plus the Dutch KLIC-melding, and you can add manual points directly. Some formats are not available for all tenants; the import guide in our knowledge base has the current details.
Two decisions matter on import. First, the destination: import as Survey Objects when you want to work with the data (stake-out, editing), or as a Background Layer when it is reference material that should load fast and stay untouched. Second, the layer mapping: you map the file’s layers to your project layers during import, so the drawing is usable the moment it lands.
The practical requirements: real-world coordinates in a reference system that matches your project, units in metres, and a maximum file size of 100 MB. Points and (poly)lines work best; circles and blocks convert to points, arcs are segmented.

TXT and PDF reports are available as well. The pricing page does not publish which plans they sit on, so ask us if that matters for your setup.
CSV covers the spreadsheet and database side and is in every plan. GeoJSON, from Starter up, feeds web GIS and modern APIs. DXF and DWG, from Professional up, land on real coordinates in AutoCAD and other CAD packages, and LandXML, also from Professional up, serves BIM and machine control workflows. A concrete example
A contractor receives a DWG design, imports it into UNI-Cloud with the drainage layers mapped to the project, and stakes it out with UNI-Collect. After the work, the as-built measurements export as DXF for the engineering firm, which needs a Professional plan or higher, and as CSV for the client’s asset register, which every plan can do. One dataset, three consumers, zero conversion tools.
