GeolinQ, built by the Dutch company IntellinQ, is a web-based platform for spatial data management. Organisations use it to collect, process, link and publish spatial data and to configure their own GIS applications, all without programming: the core is a configurable, object-oriented data model that turns data from different sources into tailor-made information products.
The GeolinQ and UNI-Cloud connection makes the marXact receiver a live data source inside that platform. Field measurements do not arrive as files; they arrive as they are taken.
How the GeolinQ & UNI-Cloud connection works
Turn on the marXact GNSS receiver, select it within GeolinQ, choose the attribute you are collecting, level the pole over the point and save. The position, centimetre-accurate in the open field with an RTK fix, lands directly in the GeolinQ data model, and built-in validations on accuracy and time guard the quality of every measurement. Any team member can survey this way, without specialist skills.
A detail we are still proud of: IntellinQ set up the first working integration within hours, and finished the whole thing without ever having a receiver in hand, purely against the UNI-Cloud API. That is what an open, documented API is for.
A concrete example
A water authority maintains its own register of assets along waterways: culverts, weirs, outfalls. An inspector walks the maintenance route with the receiver on the pole, selects the asset type in GeolinQ and saves each object where it actually sits. The validations flag anything measured without a proper fix, so the data manager never has to guess which points to trust.
