Why is UNI-Connect acting strange after updating my UNI?

You might have updated your UNI-GR1 to the latest update and you noticed that your UNI-Connect is acting “a bit strange” since the new update. It might show menu-items different than you are used to or it looks like some parts don’t load. When this happens, the problem does not come from the UNI-Connect or UNI-GR1 itself. This usually has to do with the browser cache on your device. The browser cache is the content of your browser that gets stored temporarily so that browser doesn’t need to download it every time, some of the items that get stored might be updated and therefor need to be refreshed. Usually this will be forced by UNI-Connect itself, however may in some cases needs to be done manually.

Why caching?

This makes UNI-Connect work faster! Caching helps to make the browser faster and more efficient because the data is stored as locally as possible. With caching, the browser will load faster because they can access the data more quickly from a local folder. The elements that need to be loaded in the browser for UNI-Connect, such as map tiles can be relatively large and caching these elements means they only need to be downloaded once.

What can I do about it?
