Where can I find the adapter?

If you have ordered the UNI-GR1 from, you will find the adapter to connect the UNI-GR1 to any standard survey pole in the rugged pelican case of the UNI-GR1. In the picture below we show where you can find the adapter.

What are the sizes of the adapter?

The size of the survey pole fitting is 5/8" and the fitting underneath the UNI-GR1 is 3/8".

These sizes are normally used in the world of surveyors. The tripods and survey poles have the same fitting, what makes the UNI-GR1 universal. You can use any other adapter for the survey pole and the UNI-GR1. Just make sure that your pole or adapter fits the UNI's sizes when you order elsewhere.

How do I place the adapter on the survey pole?

Get the adapter from the suitcase where the UNI is normally in. Install it on the top of the survey pole and make sure it is screwed on tight. Then get the UNI-GR1 and place it on the adapter. Rotate the UNI on the top until it is screwed on tight.
