Can I override the minimum accuracy beyond 10cm for surveying my points?

Project settings

Yes that is possible. However, we do not suggest that you do this in situations where you need to be very accurate. In the odd situations where you can afford to be less accurate and where you cannot get a fix, it’s possible to set the minimum accuracy to say, 100cm for surveying a point.

You change the minimum accuracy in the minimum accuracy field within the UNI-Connect Survey Tool settings.

Note: this only applies to new projects. Once accuracy is set for a project, this can not be changed.

To make less accurate survey settings, open UNI-Connect, go to Survey -> Settings, and click the green “new settings button”. For surveying less accurate, you select a single or float solution to be enough and fill in a minimum accuracy. The accuracy in this example is: 100cm with a single solution.

Use the new project settings

When you have set the preferred project settings, you save them and create a new project. Within the new project, you see that the big blue + button used to record points, is now ready to be clicked and even with less than centimetre accuracy.

See the example below for a point we have surveyed with less than CM accuracy. Be careful, using this will result in to less accurate drawings.
